Bought this for my brothers birthday as a gift and in all honesty i might buy one for myself. Has sooo many useful things as a survival kit and he likes fishing which they have some pieces that can also be used for that. He loves it & i do too! The pieces seem of good quality and the box itself is secure.
I've bought them for my unkle. He lives in the countryside and likes hiking in the nearest forests for berries and mushrooms hunting. He said that this kit have almost everything that can be useful if something will go wrong. It's a compact, lightweight kit. He wishes that it could have a waterproof seal in the box. Overall, he is happy that I bought it for him.
From what I can tell all of these products are very well made. Everything is nice and thick and sturdy. Nothing has come apart or broken.I bought this for my husband mostly. Also for the truck, so we can be prepared as much as possible. He was super excited. Once he saw the parachord bracelet with compass, flint, and whistle, he immediately told me to put it on him! He hasn't taken it off! This kit is truly amazing. There are a lot of safety products for when shit goes awry. We live in rural forest area. Power goes out a lot. Trees fall over the roadway and then your stuck. Its nice to know if we need we can cut limbs. Make a fire and cook. If your trapped in your car the tactical pen can break glass! The fork, knife, spoon is really cool in case you forgot silverware. We also have quite a few forest fires so its nice there is a protective fire blanket. So many things to help you if you need. I feel so much better knowing we have it. I might even get a kit for my Uncle and Cousin! All our guy friends love it!! I do too!!
This Survival kit was yet another Father's day present that I chose for my husband this year. (It truly has been a bang-up year for gifts, as both his birthday and Father's day fell during the quarantine and shopping was my favorite pastime during the lockdown. He seemed truly pleased with this survival kit in the contents that came in it.Here are a few of the highlights that he seem too particularly be impressed with:It came with a knife that he loved. (In fact, even though we live in the middle of the desert...He has a strong belief that eventually he will accidentally drive into a body of water. thus needing this knife to cut his seatbelt and release himself to safety. He literally keeps this knife inside the door on the driver side where is perpetually handy for him in case of emergency. It contains a little emergency fishing kit with a fishing line, a couple of lures and some hooks. An emergency blanket to hold in warmth.A tool that to me disturbingly looks like a garotte, but I've been told it's a useful tool used to cut almost anything, metal, wood, astic ECT.A dual spoon and fork. The list goes on and on is there really are quite a few items in the very small compact kit.I would like to mention that he was able to add items to his kit. For example he added:water purification tablets.A folding cup.Extra matches.Exta compass (as the kit already did contain one small one.)Small needle nose plyers and maybe one or two other small things. He keeps it permanently in his truck and he is very pleased with it. Additionally, as it wasn't very much money to begin with and it was such a hit of a gift. I'm very pleased with it as well.I wouldn't necessarily recommend this kit for a survivalist who requires a large number of items to survive. This is more of a beginner survival kit.I would recommend it for men like my husband, who was just like to know that they have some gear and tools for survival. Just in case....
This survival kit is great for camping. The fire starter was easy to use and start a fire with the wick that come with this package. The metal rope saw was fun to use I tried it on a tree branch in my back yard, I was able to cut the branch really fast. Knife came sharp out of the box it’s also sturdy. My favorite part is it comes with pre-hooked fishing line. If I was ever in the woods camping I would definitely bring this along.
