I love this backpack which I purchased for my 60lb German Shepherd. It is simple to put on with a big belly pad that Velcro's on and buckles to secure it more. The side pouches can carry his water, collapsible bowl, treats, waste bags and toys for the beach. We walk three miles round trip and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. I'm very happy with this product.
This bag is so easy to use. My dog can still run, sit, and shake with it. I still use her collar to put the leash on. But it’s durable and sturdy (as long as you try to balance both sides evenly) just got it yesterday but took it out on a 4 mile bike trail with my dog running besides me. we both love it
Our pup is a bit on the smaller side, 35 lbs Australian Cattle Dog mix, and we got the black tactical vest with VERY large pockets. It’s a touch big on her, but with the heavy duty Velcro and buckles it stays perfectly in place on her. She carries our water, her food, and a sweater (for me) on our walks and it slows down this active pup. She seems a bit hesitant when we first start walking, but once in full swing she’s got it. I am sure she will get used to it with time. It has also helped with keeping her from jumping around on walks. Highly recommend for dog owners on the go and overactive dogs that need a little extra push for their walks.
My dog is so happy with this pack! He knows it means adventure. He carries his own supplies as we day hike on the local trails. It fits him nicely and he still has a little room to grow. (Hopefully, he'll stop growing soon though. He's an almost 2 year old Saint Bernard weighing in about 150 lbs!) It is well made and sturdy. A simple design that is not complicated to figure out or put on. My only concern is keeping his hair out of the velcro straps.
My dog loves this! He knows he's going for a walk when this comes out. I put water bottles on each side to give it some weight to help him get tired. He has a lot of energy. It sturdy, handles dirt and mud and handles the weight of the two 1 liter bottles on each side.
